When Takizawa Kozo sensei was awarded 9dan he said “now its time for real kendo to begin” …. don’t rest on your laurels !!!!

I am precariously short of laurels and would rather do keiko than sit on them. I am back in Japan in February for the 15WKC referees seminar and expect a good hiding from Okushima, Iwatate, Shimano and Yano sensei.
